Is There a Duality to Technology?
Most of the problems today were created by technologies in the past. I think technology is biased to the positive, but there will be a duality - it's not just neutral. If we can create 1% more than we destroy every year, 1% compounded over time is civilization. We don't need much. It doesn't have to be that much better. There could be 51% good in the world and 49% bad. That's like, that's hard to ignore. You see it everywhere. But that 1% difference is hard to see as well.
