Introduction
Internal emails paint a full picture of what was going on with the vaccine adverse event reporting system during COVID-19 rollout. VAERS started in 1990, is an early warning system for harms, possible harms that were happening during vaccines. Adverse events from drugs and vaccines are common, but underreported. For vaccines, they say fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported.
