The Second Person Narrative in Open Water
The first book you wrote, Open Water, was written in the second person throughout. This is a first person narrative until you get to Stephen thinking about his father. Why that shift back into the second person narrative? I think for the same reason I employed the second person in,. In Open Water, this sense of intimacy, of bringing the reader as close as possible to the narrative. It's not necessarily diverge from Open Water, but deepen the line of questioning that I'd already started.
