The regional banks are 6.8 trillion in assets, larger than JP Morgan and Bank of America combined. They fund 80% of commercial real estate, 50% of personal loans, 40% of commercial industrial loans. If they've lost visibility on their deposit base and they don't know what's driving their depositors to leave, that lending action is going to really change.
