Bentham's Utilitarianism

Bentham took a very consistent utilitarian approach to sexual morality. As early as the 1780s he wrote against the criminalization of homosexuality. Bentham has a far more subtle psychology than he's often portrayed as half-ink. He was in favour of marriage because he thought that was conducive to happiness overall but there wasn't a unnatural mode claimed by what he called religionists.
