I where i'm a little bit unclear though, is we're saying that the natural law ethic decrees for all living things that goodness is the fulfilment of what is best for that type of creature. So we could say then that goodness is really a measure of how well that organism is fit to its environment or conditions. This, it seems like its almost a metric of darwinian fitness, if it's saying the fulfilment Of What Is Best For A Creature.
