All Boys aren't blue and Out of Darkness are both memoirs that grapple with the shattering realities of sexual assault or racism. Authors George M. Johnson and Ashley Hope Perez have filed a federal lawsuit against school district for its book bands. The Publishing Giant, Penguin Random House, Free Speech Organization, Pan America among those filing suit.
