How Did You Start Carlisle?
I started Carlisle in 1987. I didn't have any background in finance. A friend of mine helped me raise initial $5 million to get it off the ground. From that first $5 million, we now manage about $400 billion almost. It's grown a lot, but obviously with a lot of ups and downs not along the way.
