The Father's Warning to the Children of God
Adonijah, the son of hageth, exalted him saying, i will be king. And he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen and 50 men to run before him. His father had never, at any time displeased him by asking, why have you done thus? He must persevere to defend the kingdom that god had entrusted in his care, even to the end. How sad this is. Old man now bedridden. Adanija was a happy child because his father just never got in the way. We need reflect once more on the fact that we are agents of the authority of god.
