The Difference Between Company and Stock

Bob Greene: Tech stocks have become a religion stock. He says they're like Disney or ExxonMobil, where you love the company but don't want to sell. When once the religion is broken, he says, that's when people like him start buying them. Greene: Qualcomm was this religion stock in 1999; it just went up 20x. And my first, the public declined 50% and then it took 15 years to break in it. The problem is again, it's a first level thinking.
