The Incendiary Crash Between the Studios and SAG-AFTRA

I'm sure there are those who think this was something that the AMPTP was trying to do, like, surreptitiously. But regardless of whatever that was, it did have this explosive thing and it just added to what felt like this accelerating crash between the studios and SAG-AFTRA. I don't even know if the federal mediator showed up. The calls from, you know, the agency heads and the studio heads to try to make a last minute heroic save didn't work. It's not something where either side is prepared to compromise right now.
