machines will never be able to tell stories that are experientially rich. They don't know the human condition, they've never fallen in love or seen a sunset. It's possible you co round that by having embodied story tellers. But there's another possibility, which is that already programmes have something approaching a social life. And if they can tell stories about their worlds of being entities on the web then they could be valuable in two ways.
