The Barriers to Effectively Treating Gout
Gout is an acute flaring disease, that this isn't actually a chronic disease. I think as physicians, we see the disease in the same way. And so there's something about the condition itself where there's long intercritical periods where the person feels well. So often people are not offered your aortylorine therapy. They're given advice about treatments which are not particularly effective. When we're using your aortylerine therapy, we're not treating to target effectively. There's a lot of work that we need to be doing as rheumatologists to really help the community.
