Is There a Literary Tone to Science Fiction?

It's, I think, not accidental that there's a literary tone to it. Science fiction was just nascent right here. There weren't a lot of science fiction writers writing quite seriously. And so this is him just kind of trying his hand in his off hours and maybe writing something for the inklings. Aaron Smildes Marvelous, Louisiana dot NL site has got a page devoted to annotating out of the silent planet. But yeah, absolutely a literary effort here.
