Crista: I was trying to do aer kind of construction. Once i started a writing the poem, it was the poem. And i knew the construction well enough that i didn't have to think about jus th way i hapen to need an unsound line here or istantis where i should. It just worked itself out the way i wanted for the exercise. The world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting,. over and over, announcing your place in the family of things.
