Is There a Replication Crisis?
Of the original hundred papers, how many were statistically significant findings to begin with? And then among our replications, 36 were. So the effect sizes in the attempted replications only about half as big as originally reported. What can you tell us about the phenomenon of replication bullies your own take on it? It's all tangled up in social relations and power structures and jealousies and feelings of resentments about who gets rewarded and who doesn't.
