The Impossible Bush

There are two images I've talked about in previous podcasts from Homer. dragons and kings and thieves all sort of came out when he wrote The Hobbit. There's a fight between Achilles in his new glorious self and his old self and the life he could have had that one. Good authors give you kind of interpretive tools or give you hints as to how to how to understand this.
