Is the Logan Act a Violation of the First Amendment?

Logan Act has never been enforced. No one has ever been sent to prison because some people would argue the Logan Act is actually a violation of the First Amendment that you can say what you want. He's unauthorized and he's an American citizen with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. We have, like them or not, we have an enormous infrastructure called the federal government. It was some very talented people and we elect them and they get to them point by point.
