Speaker 1
You'll be telling your
Speaker 3
kids where you were when this happened. Even on CNN, Trump's love is lengthy off -script speech.
Speaker 4
They deny it at this point. No. They're behind again by now. That's
Speaker 3
right. And the person who was typing that
Speaker 1
chiron was going, fuck! Alright, let's show that clip of Gerald from earlier today and then we'll go to him on the ground. Here he is with Jim Jordan. But with
Speaker 5
all of the manipulations that he has done, that Robert Epstein has kind of pulled out, with all of the issues that we faced in 2020, how can we be confident and what can Congress do to make us confident that it won't happen again? Well,
Speaker 7
the RNC is, you know, Chairman and Lara Trump, they're working on making sure we have more poll workers, more poll watchers, more Republican lawyers at the key precincts in the key stage. You know, there's, you know, everyone believes this election is largely Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona, those swing states. the key locations there, it's important we have people there who are observing, who are watching, and who are ready to, if they see something wrong, go to court and file that. So I think that's important. I think it's also important that we as Republicans get out and vote, you know, now we have a month -long election versus our sometimes a six -week -long election, instead of just an election day. It's important that we, in states that do mail -in voting, we use that to our advantage as well, and make sure our votes get in as early as possible.
Speaker 5
So you said that month -long process, you almost said it with a little bit of humor. It seems like it's a little bit of a weird process. Should we be just going to do same -day voting and counting the ballots?
Speaker 7
Shouldn't that be the case? Yes, and the absentee should be basically exception. If you're going to be out of the country or yet, yeah. But let's have election day like we used to. And let's do it the way our state does it, is you walk in, you have to show your ID, then you have, they find your name, you have to do signature verification, and then you get a paper ballot, you fill it out, and it goes in the machine so you get quick results, but there's also a paper trail. That's how you should do it, and there's two Republicans, two Democrats at every polling precinct in our state when you vote. That's the way you want to do it. I actually think our system in Ohio is pretty darn good but unfortunately lots of other states don't do it that way.
Speaker 5
Well so how do we get these other states to change their ways right? So I know that they get to set to some what like more about that. No it's absolutely true.
Speaker 7
You're in the vicious circle huh yeah. Like more Republicans. The you know states that can have changed it, Georgia's changed their election law. You know, it was good because all the left wing press said it was bad and they've had an election since then. They had a higher turnout in a midterm than they had previously. It was like, so you do it where you can. And then you have people there watching in these key states where there are concerns. Now, we're in a good state. It's going to be a key state, Wisconsin. But the one concern I have here is now that their Supreme Court changed, their state Supreme Court, and they went back to drop boxes. They did. They're going to have drop boxes in Madison and Milwaukee and probably not in, you know, Republicanville, Wisconsin, wherever, you know, whatever, you know what I mean, some small town.
Speaker 5
Right, exactly. I mean, what can the, so let's stick with the example in Wisconsin. What can people do in Wisconsin to try and make sure, like as far as poll watching, watching drop boxes, is there anything that can be done locally to make sure like, okay, there are bad rules in place, but we can at least play a bigger part and make sure that shenanigans are limited. The number one thing is
Speaker 7
just make sure you vote. Make sure every friend and family member you have in Wisconsin and the other swing states, make sure everyone's voting because we gotta win key center races, house races, all these other races. But in the presidential context, make sure in those key states your friends and family are voting.
Speaker 8
with you. All right.
Speaker 4
That was Gerald with Jim Jordan. We have Gerald online playing with some balloons, I heard. Is that weird? He's playing Kick the Blue. I don't know what kind of game he's playing.
