I still struggle with it righting crime in the current criminal justice set up that we have here, because people still feel that the law is kind of impotent to protect them. A similar lack of faith is explored in leonardo shashe's grome breaking novel about the sicilian mafia, the day of the owl. That's an interesting novel because you have anending. But the detective is defeated. If things change in this country, maybe i would be inspired by the reason that i've deliberately not tackled that aspect of crime,. meaning like police investigation, is because of my lack of faith in that system.
