Reporters have found that even the most high end hotels may not be as clean as you imagine. Dr. Jennifer Stag, a doctor and author who has worked with hotel cleaning crews says there are ways to make rooms more hygienic. She said bathroom counters and faucets can sometimes be cleaned with the same cloth used to clean the commode which means fecal matter gets into them.
