What Is the Driving Force Behind This Book?
There's no single answer to that question at all. Most of what you find could conceivably have been done from published sources. But there are intriguing exceptions to that, such as the dockyard in kent where nucleas of mari were being built during the cold war. There is so much that we don't know, and perhaps are really unlikely to ever know.
