The Theology of Recapitulation

Uranus takes this word recapitulation from Paul's anacophyliosis, which means heading up again. His mariology is extremely significant as well along these same lines because Uranus talks about Mary as the new Eve. If Christ is the new Adam who redeems fallen Adam by means of a tree, so also Christ, the new Adam redeems the old Adam by a tree. The old Adam was taken from the virgin earth as Uranus says, and so also the new Adam comes from a virginal womb, the virgin earth.
