How to Deal With a Disorganized Attachment Style

Disorganized attachment is what Peter phonically calls epistemic hypervigilance. These are people who have learned not to trust and to be highly suspicious of everything that you may or may not do. So therapists working with such patients may be longing to get on with therapy, make interpretations,. expect their patients to turn up on time at the right place on the right day. But ultimately when they're ready, they can begin to do for themselves.
