The idea of multitasking, people often, it's actually what they're doing is task switching. Like you're not actively ever doing two things. There are just huge cognitive costs associated with purely multitasking. So in those kinds of cases, like if you're trying to develop some kind of new ability, this was where that kind of like active focus comes into play. You actually, your brain just cannot do both of those things.
