The Knowledge of God in Aquinas

To negate things of god, like to say, god is not good in the way of my new pair of shoes is good, means that i already have some knowledge of god as good. So negations build out of af ations, or require affirmations. And even if i say the phoenix does not exist, there is no such thing as a phoenix, that presupposes i already have positive knowledge of reality. What i'm arguing here is that aquinas is not quite the agnostic that circulaong thinks he is. It's clear that there is really a kind of ade apothaticism in aquinas.
