Is This a Good Book?

The novel is the story of a young boy, yuso, who is given into slavery because of his parents debt to this powerful moslem arab trader called azis. Aziz takes him to the city where us befriends halil, who is also an indentured slave, and they run the shop. Then the master takes jusef to the interior and leaves him there for one year because he suspects that his wife has developed infatuation with him. That's as open ended as you can make an ending, right? It's an open ended ending because we don't know. We don't know what will happen to h we do not know what he will do.
