Is Exercise Good for Your Mental Health?
i think for many women, moving our bodies has been linked with and weighed down by feelings of guilt and shame and inadequacy. So to change your body so that it looks like a cultural ideal is just going to work at odds with mental health. And i obviously hate the idea that those benefits are clouded by this, you know, frankly, patriarchal, beauty and diet industry. How do we get out of it in a way that our kids don't struggle with body image and work out for their mental health? I can't promise i have the answer to thatyes, it's, it's a big question and a really important one.
