The Mystery Cult of Samathrais
Samathrais was a prominent thing in the ancient world that was Hellenistic so i think it ties in to to Apollonius too. It relates back to the same concept of finding some sort of aid at sea from some sort of god like this. In a way it's projecting out the human element into the sea that obviously we can't especially in theAncient world with no diving technology or nothing like that.
