The IRS's Plan to Modernize the Way It Collects Taxes

The IRS announced an 80 billion dollar plan to modernize the way that it collects taxes. Part of that plan is meant to find ways to analyze whether the IRS is discriminating in its auditing. The IRS is making a plan to look for the racial discrimination, Daniel Ho and his team already found. We cannot solve the racial wealth gap without making sure it's not perpetuated by our tax policies. Dorothy said knowing how the tax code affects you can help mitigate some of the damage.
