Jim Truer was a working musician to the call in LA. Studio musician, then IT came a call on and then goodness it did. It's I'm actually noticed a trend of PowerShell community and music backgrounds. A lot of people seem to get their start in music first. And a lot of people end up in IT to pay the bills. Most of us aren't here because we want to be. So yeah. That's exactly how Jim Truer ended up in IT.

He's currently the Platform Engineering Lead at PartsTrader Markets Limited leading a team responsible for improving delivery processes, maintaining quality, and automating all of the things.
