The Consistency of Developmental Metaphors
I was surprised at how similar some of these conceptions were like of the dark night, right? And I mean, this is even more like of the text and that people are using to interpret their experiences. The developmental sort of metaphors, particularly around child rearing and weaning and or like learning to walk, was remarkably consistent across cultures. It's just really darn complex. Is there something a meditator should be worried about? Is there something they could be taking proportions against? You know, these practices have tremendous potential. They can go in either direction.
