The Demolishment of Old Buildings in China

We often see china as being fairly authoritarian and wanton in its destruction. But you look back at post war reconstructionin the west, or even if you go back a hundred a 20 years america, you see that a lot of the same kind of things happened. People were forcibly removed, areas were demolished and new areas were created. And i think that it's important to recognize that the necessity to demolish and create is kind of fundamentally important. Youke, as somebody once said, you have to break some eggs.
