The History of Perfume

Pomandas are balls of perfume paste that you can wear around your hand or on a chain. They were also used to sort of protect against plague as well. In the 20th century they suddenly reemerge as oranges studded with cloves. The sense of smell has always been supported by the other senses. I think a nose first approached a history in exploration, opens up all these new possibilities.
