How to Find and Develop Specific Knowledge
We want to be right on the cusp of having a very scarce skill set, which is disproportionately valuable. It's not going to be scarce if someone else is more into it than you. You can then use that over the long term for any new thing that pops up. A lot of things that you've probably learned throughout your life have nothing to do with finding and developing specific knowledge. When you find that 1%, that's when you start to go deep. That's when you use all of your discipline and hard work and shoot that fire hydrant hose right out of it.
