EP. 05 Winston Churchill
Uncancelled History
The Rise and Fall of Churchill
The allegation that Churchill's views on race mean that he positively wanted people, rather, races to die or be killed is among other things. What he says in response to the massacre at Ritzer is unbelievably and completely condemning of what happened. It just doesn't stack up when you look at the overall life trajectory of the man. He fought for Punjabi tribesmen as a young man against the Afridi and the Talib, the great grandfathers of the Taliban. When he was undersecretary at the colonies, he defended the rights of natives against British settlers.
