CNN's John Sutter recalls a famous quote from the World Economic Forum. U.N.'s Melissa Fleming says, "We own the science on climate change" The UN has partnered with Google to make sure that when people search for climate change they get all kinds of UN facts and information. This really does start to seem like not so much a covert or a conspiratorial use of big tech as a sort of unofficial branch of government,. but a kind of open melding of a government power with tech in order precisely to shape the narrative.
