Is There a Better Way to Teach Reading Than Phonics?

i think it's unfortunate a that allotted school districts have allowed, for several years now for the the approach to go away from ponix. I'm glad to see that a lot of districts are moving back toward it. A kind of teaching social theory is like painting a demon right? You can kind of paint it however you want to do it. But teaching reading is not that way. i would also feel remiss if i didn't say that over the whole, i sort of large scheme of things, its a great opportunity to discuss what we really are supposed to be getting out of our education systemike what does it exist to do?
