General Relativity and the Geometry of Space-Time
In general relativity we get gravitational attraction without any actual force. It's all geometry plus the effect of matter on bending that underlying geometry. So it's quite a remarkable and elegant theory in that way. And that leads us to Einstein's field equations of general relativity. These equations are what describes this relationship quantitatively.
