Should You Pay With Cash?

Would it be wise for you to consider paying with cash in order to to have an anonymous form of payment? I actually personally see more and more societies moving towards a cashless society. In your i can't remember, i was reading an article some months ago about one of the countries in europe that is very close to that in that direction. But this really concerns me, because there should be a certain amount of anonymity with your purchases.
