EMG Is a Key Initiator of Muscle Growth

People often use EMG research to justify exercise selection. It's actually fairly equivocal if you look at the research that's out there looking at triceps EMG in close grip versus wide grip bench press. When filtered through like range of motion and biomechanics and other things, it's kind of like making an A to E jump which is always going to be a little bit dangerous for any sort of proxy measure but I think it's more or less justifiable to do that in some situations rather than others.
