Is There a Check List?

For me, a moving the needlework often doesn't have any check list or task list associated with it. It's more like the little knitty details than any check list, for sure. I'm kind of curious where you draw the line between complex project management and then creating the list when it's time to actually do the things. And i guess i lean a little bit more towards the check process is so powerful that that's ok.
