How to Survive a Mammoth Intimidating Project

I think something that helped me tremendously was taking a very, very long term perspective. I just told myself, well, given the scale of what I'm attempting here, this is going to take at least 10 minutes. And I'm not going to see like this amazing milestones and amazing progress for a while. That really varies. But when it was just me, my thinking was, if I were to do this, like starting at the bottom building up,. It's perhaps the conventionally wise way of doing it, like building a strong foundation and then layering on top of that. But that just didn't seem fun to me.
