The Drive Through Experience of God

We distance ourselves from our own woundedness because if we can't fix it, I don't want to deal with it. And that process of getting close to the wound is painful. Even putting a hand on it can be painful,. let alone trying to get due surgery, quote unquote, on it. But there is no difference in my mind between him being close to the broken hearted and him healing the broken hearting.
