Johanna Tuyvinen: It seems to me that at the later stages in the fourth century and so on, the biological conception of political is reduced. She asks whether we should accuse the medievals of ignoring information or evidence that's staring them in the face about animals. Peter R.V.D.: To my knowledge, they never rejected the theory on the basis of empirical evidence.
