The Parabolic Wall Is a Cut

The memorial has been completed at the University of Virginia. An inner arc, a, which itself has a time line. The cuts are meant to kind of be, you don't like, a kind of almost cutting. And so we were trying to work with a kind of ambiguity in terms of how things get red. It's an accounting of the daily life of the enslaved. We remember being chased by dogs, the collars, children from their mothers. And this is what we remember and not that we were just slave owners.
