Chris Bock: This capability of space nuclear propulsion is not new. We pursued this capability before and during the Apollo era of the 1960s to go to the moon, conduct other missions of high importance in the Cold War. But now things have changed and people are starting to rethink nuclear from a power standpoint due to climate concerns as well as the advancement of technologies and policies. So I think all these things are what kept us from pursuing that earlier. And so 20, 25 years at time could be very exciting for U.S., Dr. Bach says.
