As they're losing the subsidies, it's an opportunity to help them switch on to regenerative practices. They can reduce their reliance on chemical nitrogen fertilizer through very simple gateway practices like using cover crops that help fix nitrogen naturally from the air. But again, if they start on this journey, they're going to need to figure out how it works best for their land and practice.
