i think this was an early, early ish movie for charlie covman in terms of where he was at as a filmmik or as a story teller. I also liked the movie as a sort of token of where film in general was at at the time,. and i think it was a necessary stepping stone to get some of the more interesting stories that we have to day. Maybe if another 20 years pass, wi'll look back at some of those same stories that seem subversive now, but maybe by then will be in a totally different place again. Ye, i fully agree.
