Is Omitting the Same as Liesing?

I used to be the type of person who would share my opinions or thoughts on people to their face like directly to them in a way that wasn't always careful. I think omitting can be a really powerful thing choosing your words and your moments to be honest. Here's actually one that I had a friend who I got closer with but before we were really close I knew that her boyfriend had slept with one of her good friends. But I didn't know what to do because they had all been friends before I had come into their life. So honesty is complicated. Truth isn't always the right thing.
